What to bring.
To collect money
Original, valid ID
In the recipient’s name, spelled exactly as on the transfer.
The transfer reference
The MTCN for Western Union, or the reference number from your sender.
Sender details
The sender’s full name, sending country and the expected amount.
To send money
Original, valid ID
Your own identification document.
Recipient details
Their full name as it appears on their ID, their country and a phone number.
Payout details
Bank account or wallet details if the recipient will not collect cash.
Limits, fees, exchange rates and payout options are set by each provider and can change. The teller shows you the total before you pay.
